  • Condition: Pistol type lever's spring does not hold and I can't seem to get the jaws to lock into place. They will hold when I pull the trigger out but with a real force, the hold releases. Being offered for sale as a collectible item, NOT as a functional, usable tool (although a thorough cleaning and a replacement spring might do the trick...we leave this up to you). Moderate pitting and light rust throughout. Minor, cosmetic-only splits to solid wood handle. Remains very strong. Excellent patina to wood. All-in-all, a great example of an very hard to find 19th century, American made monkey / "Tiger" wrench. See pics. PLEASE NOTE: The pictures are a large part of the "condition description". Please inspect ALL of them carefully and review them thoroughly.
