    Description

    An outstanding bronze figurine of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mother with four puppies. Signed by artist Jane Howse of Howz Originals (U.K.), this is marked as number 16 in the edition. The sculpture is mounted on a nicely finished wood plinth and displays beautifully. The interaction between the mother dog and her puppies is utterly charming. She nuzzles a puppy laying on its back between her front legs, as another pup nurses and two others play. The mother wears a studded buckle collar. Lovely detail and patina. The bronze of the dogs alone measures 3" tall by 8" long. The wood base measures 1 1/4" thick, 11" long and 7 3/4" deep. A fantastic piece for the serious collector!
