Carcano Cavalry Carbine Cleaning Rod

Don't see these around. This is an original two piece cleaning rod that is stored in the buttstock of the cavalry carbine along with the bore brush. The cavalry carbine is the carbine with the long under folding spike bayonet.  Both sections are 6 1/2 inches in length. Male and female ends screw together without any difficulty. Once put together, the soldier would screw the bore brush onto the threads of the female end resulting in an overall length of  16 3/4 inches. If you own a cavalry carbine I know that you are missing the cleaning rod. Don't sit on the fence thinking about it. Don't know when you will see another example.
