Very Nice Condition for a very rare rifle.
From the RARE German Carcano in 8 x 57mm Mauser
Build your own RARE Gun. RARE because the conversion to
the German caliber was made just before Italy had capitulated in 1943
and German forces then took charge of all weapons and reissued Carcanos in 8mm (7.9) in
limited numbers to Italian troops fighting with Germans and to Home Guard fighting for Berlin.
SARCO currently has the barreled receiver for this rifle for .95
I've had several people "kind" enough to offer there unsolicited opinions on this stock and what was for.
Whether it was for the Germans, made for the Greek Civil War, or for the Middle Eastern Market makes
no difference to me. As with all purchases on eBay purchase it because it fulfills your needs and wants as I
do not accept returns.
At the very least it's a Carcano stock in very nice condition, Good Luck finding one of them.
