CROWN DUCAL Dicken's Mr. Pickwick Meets Sam Weller 10 1/2" Plate

Description

Up for sale is a dinner or cabinet plate made by Crown Ducal in England in the 1920's.  The plate features a scene from Dicken's Pickwick Papers, "Mr. Pickwick Meets Sam Weller" with the embossed Florentine pattern - all trimmed in gold on a scalloped rim. It is signed by A.L. Stanmore.
The plate measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter.
This vintage plate is in very good used condition with no chips or cracks.  There is crazing throughout and very minor gold loss.
