Unmarked color postcard, photolithographed, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. Several tiny chips to surface of front edges; overall very good condition. This souvenir postcard shows a view of Portland looking from the West Hills toward Mount Hood. The vibrantly colored lithograph was printed in Germany on a metallic silver surface. The postcard was produced for the 1905 Lewis and Clark Exposition, and the cost of mailing it is given as one cent, which places the date of publication between 1898 and 1917. The undivided back suggests a date between 1901 - 1907.
