    Description

    Offered for sale are 6 vintage Grindley Hotel Ware individual serving oyster plates from the iconic New Orleans restaurant Maylie's on Poydras St. which was closed in 1986. Maylie's was first established in 1894.  These plates were purchased from the family estate of the owners, Willie & Anna May Maylie.  They are in nice clean vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines; however, one has a small scratch from utensil wear & another has some small brown staining consistent with age & use.  Each measures approximately 8" L  x  4 3/4" W.  Happy to answer any questions.  Thank you for looking!
